This is a gallery of beats produced by Hedtec during 2009. Some of the production tools used were an MPC 500, MPC 1000, Microkorg, Technics turntables, a room full of records, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Korg Triton, guitar and bass. Most of these beats were recorded straight off of the MPC into Audition or Pro Tools. The volume levels are a little inconsistant between songs and some beats have more clarity than others. This is the nature of my production at times. I will track out a beat as is and then listen to it over and over to determine what I want to do with it. Some of these beats are unfinished and will appear on later records produced fully. This is a gallery of demos, rarities as well as some fully finished beats. In 2009 I experimented with different styles but kept my sound consistant with my preference for the classic ,sample based hip hop beats.
